Greater Understanding through Personality Profiles
July 16, 3:30pm, UNO Campus

This is a free, open to the public,  hour long presentation discussing personality types and how they affect our interactions with our children.

Is practicing with your child a daily struggle?
Are you confused about what motivates your child?
Frustrated because they don't react to competition the same way you did when you were their age?

Katie Carrington, artistic director of the GNOSF, will be giving a free presentation about how we can use what we know about differing personalities and motivations to make working with our children easier.  With a curriculum designed by Judy Bossuat-Gallic, renowned Suzuki teacher and trainer, this hour long presentation hopes to illuminate differences and similarities in temperament between students and parents, and how to use this knowledge to make practicing and working with your child easier.

The books this presentation draws from are "Please Understand Me II", by Dr. David Kiersey, and "The Highly Sensitive Person" by Dr. Elaine Aron.  Both are available on Amazon if you wish to read them prior to the talk.

Presentation will be held during the GNOSF Summer Institute, July 16, at 3:30 pm at the UNO Campus.  No sign up necessary; all are welcome to attend.
